As part of Audi’s “It’s Time to Live a Little” summer campaign, the Led Balloon film invited fans into a surreal, high-octane celebration of Audi culture—through a global water balloon fight that spanned continents, decades, and drive types. In support of this wild cinematic world, I concepted and designed a lineup of apparel that subtly threaded Audi heritage into each scene. These pieces served not just as costume design, but as authentic nods for longtime fans—appearing on key characters throughout the narrative and later teased on social. Highlights included: – A Formula E–inspired graphic tee that nodded to Audi’s electric racing legacy – A quattro club shirt, elevated by a water splash graphic—mirroring the film’s playfulness – An August Horch quote tee, grounding the future-forward film with the brand’s origin story – The return of the 25 Years of RS shirt from An Avant Story, anchoring the film in Audi fandom Organic Social Results – 98% positive sentiment – 300k+ impressions in the first 3 days – 36% video completion rate on a 15-minute film More than costumes, these apparel pieces became a tactile extension of Audi’s legacy—designed to blend brand love with wearability and drive post-film engagement.
